Murthovic / Sri Rama Murthy
Sound as a
continuing practice.
A sound practitioner, ethnomusicological researcher, DJ and producer, Murthovic has worked across India’s electronic music culture for more than two decades. His listening travels through house, techno, bass and IDM alongside South Asian musical traditions.
Through his studio Nadabramha and his collaborative work, recording, performance and research inform one another. Within Elsewhere, musical knowledge is something to work with, question and carry into new contexts.
