Elsewhere in India is a collaborative transmedia project led by sound practitioner Murthovic and media artist Thiruda.
Murthovic
& Thiruda
Sri Rama Murthy (Murthovic) works across electronic composition, performance and musical research. Avinash Kumar (Thiruda) works across media art, design and speculative worldbuilding.
Their collaboration brings together South Asian sound and performative traditions with game engines, moving images, motion capture and immersive media.
Elsewhere in India is developed through Antariksha Studio, with Crossover Labs collaborating on immersive production and international presentations.

Jayalakshmi Eshwar, cultural director and co-founder, is a Bharatanatyam performer, choreographer, teacher and author. Her practice is a foundation for the project's approach to gesture, movement and cultural memory.
The wider practice grows through collaborations with musicians, artists, technologists, museums and archives. Each work brings its own constellation of contributors.
